Nature lovers will appreciate its three parks: Willis Park, Avondale Park, and Bess Walker Park. Bess Walker Park is also home to the historic special event venue, The Lake House at Avondale Estates. Popular for weddings, reunions, or any special event, the house is a Tutor-style building overlooking Avondale Lake that can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Along with much of metro Atlanta, Avondale Estates' housing prices have grown exponentially over the last decade. As of April 2023, home values were up 25.7 percent compared to 2022, selling for a median price of $635,000.
