Morningside Lenox Park is a historic neighborhood located in the northeastern part of Atlanta with a current population of 9,695. It is situated between Ansley Park, Virginia Highland, Druid Hills, and Emory University.
 
There are around 6,408 homes in Morningside-Lenox Park with a median age of 1973. Of the 5,971 occupied housing units, 51.42% are owner-occupied, while 48.58% have renters living in them. In February 2023, Morningside-Lenox Park home prices were up 13.0% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $955,000. On average, homes in Morningside-Lenox Park sell after 41 days on the market compared to 25 days last year. There were 32 homes sold in February this year, down from 65 last year.
 
Morningside Lenox Park was home to farms in the 1820s, and the most famous was the Kimballville Farm. It developed as a commuter town to Atlanta in the 1920s. Its first large development of homes was built in stucco and described as Mediterranean style. Later styles included Tudor, Craftsman, midcentury, traditional, and modern. The average home age is 1973.
 
The Morningside-Lenox Park Associationestablished in 1965, organizes community events throughout the year and plays a significant role in maintaining the community’s family and pedestrian-friendly character. It has prevented urban encroachment, such as new highways and commercial developments, for decades, and today works closely with the Atlanta City Council to enact its 2018 Master Plan. Morningside Lenox Park has access to multiple city parks such as Piedmont Park, the BeltLine, Lenox Wildwood Park, and Noble Park. It also houses the Morningside Nature Preserve, a 30-acre park that offers walking trails, a playground, and access to Peachtree Creek. The neighborhood is also home to an abundant variety of restaurants and shops.
 
Morningside Lenox Park is served by the Atlanta Public Schools system, plus several private schools. The area is considered a highly desirable place to live in Atlanta, with a high median home price and low crime rate.
